Born in 1959, I started drawing and painting at an early age and adapting my abilities to include glass engraving in the mid 1970's.
I focus on using Stipple and Drill Engraving, often combining the two for effect. When producing the images on the glass/crystal-ware I engrave freehand, similar to drawing on paper.
In the period 1986 to 1998 I ran a part time “hand engraved glass” business sending completed works of all manner of subjects to satisfied customers world wide, I have also featured in both local and national newspapers.
Since then personal circumstances meant I had very little time to participate in the craft until recently, but now the Art of Glass Engraving is my Full Time Profession. I undertake commissions working closely with customer requirements.
