HOW TO JOIN THE SOCIETY OR APPLY FOR A TRAVEL GRANT
The Scottish Glass Society has about 180 members, comprising glass blowers, stained glass artists, engravers, collectors, students, academics and many others. It is concerned with widening the knowledge of glass making and working in Scotland. Membership is open to all who are interested in glass and the skills and arts of glass making.
The Society publishes a quarterly Newsletter, and holds a programme of events throughout the year. It disseminates information on competitions, grants, scholarships and exhibitions relevant to the members’ interests. The Society also makes two annual awards to glass students and awards a travel grant. It lobbies official bodies when appropriate. There is an Annual Exhibition, sometimes entirely of members’ work, other times it is an open exhibition, but including members’ work and invited artists or groups.

If you wish to apply for a travel grant, you must be a member already, or join now, please print out the form and send an appropriate application to the secretary.
