Statement
I am a kiln formed glass artist based in Dumfries and Galloway. I work across the public and private commission sector and produce work for galleries. For the last couple of years I have been interested in making marks in glass with diamond point engraving, angle grinding and kiln carving with fibre paper.
I am currently working on a theme of toxic botanicals used in the pharmaceutical industry such as Digitalis and Atropa belladonna. Previously I studied Biomedical Sciences at Kings College London, specialising in pharmacology and toxicology and am now combining this interest with my glass work.
Blogspot
I keep a blog about the comings and goings of a glass studio in Corsock, Dumfries and Galloway which compliments my main glass website.
