Interests

I learned the art of leaded glass making at a summer school in 1986 in a workshop in Irvine during the Harbour Arts Festival. I then made a glass panel as part of my higher art. Since then I have exhibited in Princes Square, Glasgow, Harbour Arts Centre, Irvine, Maclaurin Art Galleries, Ayr, Glasgow Print Studio and Roger Billcliffe Gallery, Glasgow.

Since moving to our present address 2 years ago we have converted our garage into a fully equipped workshop for myself and for my partner, Ian McNicol, a fine art printmaker specialising in etching.

Items that I make include fully fitted windows, fan lights, window handings, mirrors, table lights and smaller items - butterflies, flowers, christmas angels, stars etc.

Our designs are contemporary or abstract, usually influenced by architecture, urban surroundings, landscapes, colour and light. Commissions can be designed to enhance any interior.
