"My work is continuation of my exploration and fascination of the dissection of the pod or seed. In each work I have taken an initial pod or seed and dissected, carved and transformed, enjoying the play of opposing surfaces, different surface texture and sweeping lines constantly striving to capture true form and balance, my work is often described as having sensual line and underlying tension"
BRODIE NAIRN - GLASSTORM Contemporary Glass Studio
Brodie Nairn established the GLASSTORM Contemporary Glass Studio & Gallery in 2005 with fellow glass artist Nichola Burns.
Both have firmly established themselves within the glass art scene in Italy, Switzerland, Germany and The Netherlands. Returning back to Scotland they created their new glass studio and gallery in the beautiful town of Tain in the Highlands.
